Secure the bracket to the stud using approved hardware such as a nail or screw. Insert the copper stub out into the pipe hole, apply flux, and solder the copper, ensuring you heat only the tube and not the bracket. Avoid excessive heat directly on the bracket to maintain its plated finish.
This series of brackets is specifically designed to support 1/2", 3/4", or 1" nominal copper stubouts for water supply lines. Depending on the model number, the holes for positioning the copper tube are spaced on 2-inch or 4-inch center lines.
