Secure the bracket to the stud using approved hardware such as nails or screws. Insert the copper stub out into the designated pipe hole. Apply flux and solder the copper, ensuring you heat the tube rather than the bracket. Directly heating the bracket may burn off the plated finish.
This bracket series is engineered to support 1/2", 3/4", or 1" nominal copper stub outs for water supply lines. Depending on the model, holes for positioning the copper tubes are located on either 2-inch or 4-inch centerlines. Crafted from copper-plated steel with a protective water-based clear coat finish, these brackets are designed to resist surface rust upon arrival at the job site. Some models feature extruded holes for a wider soldering surface and rolled edges for enhanced strength.
