Step-by-Step Installation: Secure the bracket to the stud using approved hardware such as nails or screws. Insert the copper stub out into the pipe hole, apply flux, and solder the copper, ensuring you direct the heat to the tube to avoid damaging the plated finish on the bracket. Excessive heat directly applied to the bracket may burn off the plating.
Versatile Support: This series of brackets is designed to support 1/2", 3/4", or 1" nominal copper stub outs for water supply lines. Depending on the model, holes for positioning the copper tube are placed on 2-inch or 4-inch center lines. Each bracket is manufactured with copper-plated steel and a protective water-based clear coat finish to minimize surface rust upon arrival at the job site. Select models feature extruded holes for a wider soldering surface and rolled edges for additional strength.
