Secure the bracket to the stud with approved hardware, using either a nail or screw. Insert the copper stub out into the pipe hole. Apply flux and solder the copper, ensuring the heat is concentrated on the tube and not the bracket. Direct heat on the bracket may damage the plated finish.

Depending on the model, holes for positioning the copper tube are placed on 2-inch or 4-inch center lines.
