Secure the bracket to the stud with approved hardware, using either a nail or screw. Insert the copper stub out into the pipe hole. Apply flux and solder the copper, ensuring the heat is concentrated on the tube and not the bracket. Direct heat on the bracket may damage the plated finish.
This bracket series is essential for supporting 1/2", 3/4", or 1" nominal copper stub outs for water supply lines. Depending on the model, holes for positioning the copper tube are placed on 2-inch or 4-inch center lines. Fabricated from copper-plated steel, each bracket is coated with a protective water-based clear finish to prevent rust upon arrival at the jobsite. Depending on the model, the bracket may also feature extruded holes for a broader soldering surface and rolled edges for enhanced strength.
