Using approved hardware, secure the bracket with a nail or screw to the stud. Insert the copper stub out into the pipe hole. Apply flux and solder the copper, ensuring you heat the tube rather than the bracket. Excessive heat directly on the bracket may burn off the plated finish, so caution is advised.
