With approved hardware, secure the bracket using a nail or screw to the stud. Insert the copper stub out into the pipe hole. Apply flux and solder copper, ensuring that you heat the tube rather than the bracket. Excessive heat directly on the bracket may compromise the plated finish.
This series of brackets is designed to support 1/2", 3/4", or 1" nominal copper stub outs for water supply lines. The positioning holes for the copper tube are located on 2-inch or 4-inch center lines, based on the model number. Each bracket is crafted from copper-plated steel and features a protective, water-based clear coat finish to prevent surface rust upon job site arrival. Depending on the model number, the bracket may also feature extruded holes for a broader soldering surface and rolled edges for additional strength.
