Using approved hardware, secure the bracket with a nail or screw to the stud. Insert the copper stub out into the pipe hole. Apply flux and solder the copper, ensuring to heat the tube, not the bracket. Excessive heat applied directly to the bracket could result in burning off the plated finish.
