1. Using approved hardware, secure the bracket to a stud with a nail or screw. 2. Insert the copper stub-out into the pipe hole. 3. Apply flux and solder the copper, ensuring the tube, not the bracket, is heated. Excessive heat on the bracket may damage the plated finish.
This series of brackets is designed to support 1/2", 3/4", or 1" nominal copper stub outs for water supply lines. Copper tube positioning holes are spaced on 2-inch or 4-inch center lines, depending on the model. Manufactured from copper-plated steel with a protective water-based clear coat to minimize rust during transit, these brackets may include extruded holes for a broader soldering surface and rolled edges for added strength, depending on the model.
