Worbiz expands our inside-pipe drains with the addition of two new models with nickel-bronze strainers. Compared to the more economical, one-piece ABS design, these new models are better-suited for tile or finished floor areas, or where heavier-traffic is expected. 

These drains are designed to solvent weld inside of Sch. 40 PVC pipe and finish flush with the floor, even after slab pour or flooring installation. Pipe is stubbed up, then cut just below the finish floor level. The PVC drain housing solvent welds inside the pipe, and the nickel-bronze strainer fits into the space left by the pipe OD to provide a finished look.

Application

The inside pipe drain shall be used where necessary in drainage systems. The drain shall be one-piece, white ABS, and be designed to solvent weld inside most PVC/ABS Sch. 40 pipe. Low-profile strainer shall meet all load and flow requirements for the intended use.
